Thanks to the generosity of The Oratory Prep School community, this year’s Harvest collection, equating to 294kgs, was donated to ReadiFood, Reading’s Food Bank.
Following the school’s annual Harvest Festival in October, a wide range of items kindly donated by parents, pupils and staff were passed on to ReadiFood, an independent Food Bank providing food parcels to those in severe need in the greater Reading area.
As a thank you, we received a wonderful letter from ReadiFood as well as a special certificate.
Alongside this, the school also raised £222 for CAFOD, the Catholic international development charity in England and Wales.
