Junior Prep: Reception – Year 4
Junior Prep begins in Reception and goes through to the end of Year 4.
We believe that the key to successful learning starts with developing strong oracy, comprehension and written expression from a very early age. Our pupils are immersed in a curriculum that is literature rich and centred around building core transferable skills that equip them in developing key knowledge and an understanding of the world around them, whilst being meaningful and relevant to their everyday experiences.
- Our Sparkling Start begins each new theme, piquing the children’s curiosity and desire to learn more about it. This can be through going on trips, workshops in school and specific activities.
- We end each theme with our Phenomenal Finish which gives the children’s learning meaning as they work towards a purposeful ending.
